Ingredients:
- pepper of choice
- olive oil
- garlic
- pepper
- sea salt
Directions:
- pre-heat oven to 400〫
- brush the outsides of the peppers with olive oil
- place the peppers on a cookie sheet and place in the oven
- turn the oven on broil
- broil the peppers until blisters and brown spots mark the skins
- use tongs to constantly turn the peppers as each side gets dark
- remove from the oven and place in a glass dish
- remove the cling wrap
- when cool enough to touch, pull out the stems and peel off the skins. This should happen very easily.
NOTE: the liquid inside the peppers can be very hot
- use garlic, pepper and sea salt to season to taste
- enjoy these juicy peppers in Mexican dishes, omelettes, or just as a side!
