After graduating high school in 2001, Jaclyn moved to Fredericton New Brunswick to attend the University of New Brunswick (UNB). Jaclyn’s studies at UNB earned her a Bachelor of Science (Major in Biology). Immediately following graduation from UNB, Jaclyn enrolled at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, where she obtained a Certificate in Foundation Visual Arts and a Diploma in Fine Craft & Applied Design (Fashion Design).

Jaclyn has always had an interest in the human body, and has been active in the sport of competitive fitness and bodybuilding for over a decade, both as an athlete, mentor and local judge. In 2011, Jaclyn received top honours at the Canadian Bodybuilding Federation’s (CBBF) Natural National Championships and was awarded the highly coveted Pro Card status with the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB). Since becoming an IFBB Professional, Jaclyn has established herself as one of Canada’s top fitness models and is sought out for seminars, posing lessons, critiques and photo shoots. Most recently, Jaclyn has been invited to compete at the prestigious IFBB Professional event The Arnold Classic Australia.

In addition to her personal athletic endeavours, Jaclyn has recently launched JW Fitness which is an online coaching initiative that caters to female clients. With her extensive past experience, Jaclyn provides plans for women interested in bettering their health, improving their fitness or challenging themselves by entering a fitness competition.

Jaclyn is also self employed as the Designer/Maker of JW Couture. Her fashion business has been in operation for over a decade, creating custom designed garments for clients. Although Jaclyn can construct any garment requested, her business specializes in refined competition suits for male and female bodybuilding athletes.
