How to Roast Hazelnuts

Freshly Roasted Hazelnuts are beyond delicious!
The warm nuts are fragrant and more flavourful than their raw counterpart.
Don't forget to try using your roasted nuts to make Homemade Nutella!


- unsalted raw hazelnuts


- preheat oven to 375º
- in a single layer, spread out the nuts on a baking pan. Use parchment paper on the baking pan if you like.
- allow the hazelnuts to bake for 10-13 minutes or until browned and fragrant. Keep a close eye on the nuts once they begin to brown as they can burn quickly.

- remove the nuts from the oven and spread them onto a clean towel
- to remove the skins, vigorously roll the nuts around between the towel

- use your fingers to work off any stubborn skins
- allow the nuts to completely cool and store in a glass container
